Multiópticas and CEU San Pablo University have reached a collaboration agreement in scientific,
academic and cultural matters for the development of research and training programmes
and activities and have launched Aula
CEU-Multiópticas.
This Aula is part of
the university-business ecosystem that the University is developing,
which allows students to receive complementary education while taking their
first steps into the working world. The opening was attended by Carlos Crespo, CEO of Multiópticas, and
the Vice-Rector for Students and University Life, Ángel Bartolomé, who highlighted the importance of this
collaboration and the commitment to quality education in the optical sector.
In the words of Carlos
Crespo, CEO of Multiópticas: "We
believe that MÓ Lab has proven to be an enriching and valuable event for both
students and professionals in the optical sector. Through this collaboration
with CEU University, we commit to continue promoting education, growth, and
opportunities in the field of optics and optometry."
The Vice-Rector for
Students and University Life, Ángel Bartolomé, thanked Multiópticas for their
participation in the Aulas CEU-Business initiative, "a co-teaching format that brings together professors and professionals from different business sectors. Multiópticas
maintains a teaching space where joint projects between the professional and
academic worlds are promoted and enhanced, and it also allows us to get to know
the young talent we are nurturing."
This initiative is part
of the collaboration agreement established in 2022 between Multiópticas and CEU
San Pablo University to create areas of collaboration in the scientific,
academic, and cultural fields.
As part of this
agreement, both institutions have organised the MÓ Lab training day, which
marks the launch of this Aula, designed to enrich the knowledge of Optics and Optometry students and
provide learning opportunities for partners, collaborators, and professionals
in the optical sector. MÓ Lab features a comprehensive programme of talks,
presentations, and roundtable discussions throughout the day, delivered by
renowned optical professionals, visual health experts, and experienced teachers
in various areas of vision and visual health. Participants had the opportunity
to delve deeper into key topics related to optics and optometry, thus expanding
their knowledge and deepening their understanding of the sector.
