Around 700 students have gathered at the 'Innovation Day CEU,' an event driven by
the Career Centre at Universidad CEU San Pablo that connects university talent
with the business world. In this event, the leaders of the future have worked
to provide innovative solutions for 18
public and private companies from different sectors. The participating
companies included : 24 Genetics, ARDifusión, Atresmedia, AstraZeneca, AUARA,
Enterprise Mobility, FARLABO, Human Age Institute, IBM, Ilunion, Kritik, LLYC,
L'Oréal, Madrid Talento, Merck, Minsait, Squire Patton Boggs, and Telefónica.
Throughout the day, students have designed their projects to address
various challenges proposed by the companies, focusing on social impact,
artificial intelligence and new technologies, health and genetics, employment,
education, media, cybersecurity, and sustainability, among other aspects.
The event was launched by the Vice-Rector for Students and University
Life, Ángel Bartolomé, accompanied
by the Director General of Human Resources Planning at the City Council of
Madrid, Antonio Sánchez, and the
General Director of Self-Employed and Entrepreneurship of the Community of
Madrid, Irene Correas, who delivered
a motivational speech to all participants.
