The Aula
Magna on the Moncloa campus of Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid has hosted
the traditional Farewell Day, an
event marking the end of the mobility
period for incoming students who
have been studying at the University during the first months of the academic
year. The event was presided over by the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation, Ainhoa Uribe, who was joined at the event
by mobility coordinators from various faculties: Ángela Ávila (Humanities and Communication Sciences), Esther Gramage (Pharmacy), Ángeles López (Medicine), Sara Lorenzo (Economic and Business), Cristina Sánchez (Institute of
Technology), and Alberto Hidalgo
(Law).
The
gathering was attended by 275 mobility students, who were conferred academic
sashes before speeches were given by several of them: Eugénie Girardin (Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium), Ferdinand Johann Korbinian Koch
(Hochschule Mainz, Germany), Andrea
Solornazo (University of Monterrey, Mexico), Deborah Mack-Phillips (University Marburg, Germany), Joao Magalhaes (Universidade Catolica
Portuguesa, Portugal), Diego Kazmierski (University
of Lima, Peru), and Niccolo D'erme
(Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands).
