Around 80 companies attended the Moncloa Campus Job Fair, organized by the Career Centre; a unique employability experience that strengthens the link between University and Business. This meeting, in which more than 600 students and alumni took part, allowed those attending to discover professional opportunities linked to law firms, banking, auditing, consulting, insurance, automotive, retail, consumer goods, as well as communication, marketing, and advertising agencies.
The Rector of the University, Rosa Visiedo, opened the Job Fair and encouraged attendees to make the most of all the resources and opportunities provided by this initiative. "At CEU, we want to help you develop your talent and define and achieve your life project," she said. In this sense, she continued, "We are committed to employability and we will work to offer you the opportunity to make your personal project a reality, with the ultimate goal of improving the society of the future."
Ramón Rodrigáñez, co-founder and CEO of NOVA, the global talent network that connects high-potential profiles with each other and with the best professional opportunities, gave a motivational speech at the event. There was also a roundtable discussion with the participation of María Alonso Martín, E-Content Lead at L'Oréal, Sonia Garrido Oriol, Business Auditor at IAG, and Jesús Moas Ydoate, a tax lawyer at Uría Menéndez.
