The newspaper 'El Mundo' has published the twenty-third edition of the Ranking de 50 carreras, the magazine supplement that analyses the Bachelor’s degrees most in-demand and the five most valued universities which offers them, with the aim of guiding future students in their university choice. In the latest issue 49 universities appear and the Universidad CEU San Pablo appears with three outstanding degrees: in Journalism, rising from third to second place; in Physiotherapy, which once again appears with a third position ranking; and the degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. This special issue highlights CEU Universidad San Pablo for being committed to employability, internationalisation, innovation, and digitisation as tools for the training of our students.
Regarding the degree in Physiotherapy, the special issue notes that it offers the possibility of working in the USA thanks to its recognition by the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy. In Journalism, it emphasises the simultaneous study with one of seven other degree courses, that it can be taken in English, and that there are two specific programmes from UCLA in the USA. In the degree in Nutrition, the success of the Polyclinic's consultation and that its syllabus includes more than 1,100 hours of internships is highlighted.
Although they do not have any outstanding degrees in the ranking, the other three CEU universities also appear in the special. The Universitat Abat Oliba CEU highlights the fact that on its 50th anniversary it has expanded its range of undergraduate degrees to include Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and Business Intelligence. They also point out that the Bellesguard Campus will be fully operational next academic year. For the Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera, the special issue notes that is replicates in its classrooms the professional environments that graduates will face, allowing teaching focused on practice. In this sense, the excellent facilities such as the Veterinary Clinical Hospital, the teaching farm, the Dental Clinic and the cardio-respiratory physiotherapy service are highlighted. Although teaching will not begin until the next academic year, the Universidad CEU Fernando III is already included in this list, with special mention given to it being the fourth CEU university in Spain, and backed by the institution’s 91 years of experience in higher education and by an education based on excellence. Highlighted is the beginning to this journey, which will involve an innovative project of high quality teaching and research and that in the first phase, its degrees will be linked to both business and technical branches as well as those of humanities, education and sport, later extending to the area of health.
