Universidad CEU San Pablo and
Diusframi have signed a strategic agreement for the training of students from
the School of Engineering. The signatories of this alliance were Juan Carlos Díaz, president of
Diusframi, along with Rosa Visiedo
and Carmen García de Elías, rector
and manager of the University. Within the framework of this partnership, Aula
CEU-Diusframi has been inaugurated, a space that will allow students in the Computer Engineering degree to develop
their knowledge and skills according to the current and future needs of the job
market.
Juan Carlos Díaz, president of Diusframi,
emphasised the conviction and importance of training and creation of talent in
Spain and the necessary collaboration between universities and companies for
societal development. "The creation
of Aula CEU-Diusframi is a first step that will enable students at the CEU Universidad
San Pablo to have a high-quality training space, one that is oriented to
training in the field of security and new technologies as well as the delivery
of practical classes in professional areas. This will be aimed at sectors as
important and dynamic as the payment industry in which Diusframi is a reference,"
he explained.
For her part, the Rector of the
University, Rosa Visiedo, underlined the importance of the inauguration
of the CEU-Diusframi Classroom which "aligns
with our strategy of continuing to offer our students the best theoretical and
hands-on education through teaching spaces that promote joint projects between
the professional and academic worlds." In this sense, she pointed out
that "we are confident that we can
achieve these goals thanks to our alliance with Diusframi, which will
facilitate students receiving complementary training while taking their first
steps into the professional field."
University-Business Ecosystem
Universidad CEU San Pablo aims to prepare students for an
increasingly demanding and ever-changing work environment. In line with this
commitment, it maintains a close
relationship with the business world and adjusts its curricula to meet the
profiles sought by companies, and thereby enhancing employability. This builds
a true university-business ecosystem through
educational spaces where joint projects between the professional and academic
worlds are promoted and strengthened. Launched in the academic year 2022-2023,
this project has been implemented in all Schools and the Institute of
Technology, enabling students to receive complementary training while taking
their first steps into the job market.
