The University and Porcelanosa
have signed a strategic agreement for the training of students in the Institute of Technology. The heads of
this alliance were José Antonio Pérez
García, manager of Porcelanosa Madrid, along with Rosa Visiedo and Carmen
García de Elías, Rector and Manager of the University. As part of this
partnership, Aula CEU-Porcelanosa has been launched: a space that will allow
students in the Architecture and Interior Design degrees to develop
their competencies and skills in accordance with the current and future needs
of the job market.
Within the framework of the Aula, professionals from different
companies within the Porcelanosa Group will provide training sessions in areas
such as industrialised construction or the use and application of cutting-edge
materials like Krion®. Students participating in this educational space will
also face joint design challenges, enabling them to work as a team to build and
materialise their ideas.
The manager of Porcelanosa Madrid, José Antonio Pérez García, stated that "the creation of this classroom underscores Porcelanosa's strong
commitment to education and academic excellence. We want to provide students
with all possible tools for their comprehensive development. Only in this way
will we ensure the future employment prospects of our youth and the sector as a
whole."
The University Rector, Rosa
Visiedo, emphasised the importance of launching Aula CEU-Porcelanosa,
stating, "It aligns with our
strategy to continue offering our students the best theoretical and hands-on
training through educational spaces that promote joint projects between the
professional and academic worlds." She noted, "We are confident we will achieve these goals
thanks to our alliance with Porcelanosa, which will enable students to receive
complementary training while taking their first steps into the working world."
University-Business
Ecosystem
Universidad CEU San
Pablo aims to prepare students for an
increasingly demanding and ever-changing work environment. In line with this
commitment, it maintains a close
relationship with the business world and adjusts its curricula to meet the
profiles sought by companies, thereby enhancing employability. This builds a
true university-business ecosystem through
educational spaces, where joint projects between the professional and academic
worlds are promoted and strengthened. Launched in the 2022-2023 academic year,
this project has been implemented in all Schools and the Institute of
Technology, helping students to receive complementary training while taking
their initial steps into the job market.
