Universidad CEU San Pablo and the Official College of Pharmacists of Madrid (COFM)
have signed a strategic agreement for the training of students in the School of
Pharmacy. The heads of this alliance were Manuel
Martínez del Peral, President of COFM, Alfonso Bullón de Mendoza,
President of the Fundación San Pablo CEU, and Rosa Visiedo, Rector of CEU
USP. As part of this partnership, Aula CEU-COFM has been launched, a space that
will allow Pharmacy degree students to develop their competencies and skills in
line with the current and future needs of the job market.
Manuel Martínez del Peral, President of COFM, stated,
"With this agreement with CEU, we
aspire to help all pharmacists develop in the various forms of pharmacy
practice, especially in the areas with the most potential for professional
growth." He added, "It is a
great opportunity to connect the profession with the University and for future
pharmacists to understand the breadth and richness of the pharmaceutical world
and the role of the College as a companion in their future professional
development."
Rosa Visiedo, the University Rector,
emphasised the importance of launching Aula CEU-COFM, stating, "It aligns with our strategy to continue
offering our Health Sciences students the best theoretical and hands-on
training in educational spaces that promote joint projects between the
professional and academic worlds." She noted, "We are confident in achieving these goals
thanks to our alliance with the Official
College of Pharmacists of Madrid, which will enable students to
receive complementary training while taking their first steps into the
professional world."
University-Business
Ecosystem
Universidad CEU San Pablo aims to prepare students for an increasingly
demanding and ever-changing work environment. In line with this commitment, it
maintains a close relationship with the
business world and adjusts its study plans to meet the profiles sought by
companies, thereby enhancing employability. This builds a true university-business ecosystem through
educational spaces, where joint projects between the professional and academic
worlds are promoted and strengthened. Launched in the 2022-2023 academic year,
this project has been implemented in all Schools and the Institute of
Technology, facilitating students to receive complementary training while
taking their initial steps into the job market.
