The first school of journalism in Spain, known as the "El Debate" school, was founded here in 1926. It was the origin of journalism studies at Universidad CEU San Pablo. That is why hundreds of professionals from the most important media in the country are CEU graduates.

With your Bachelor’s degree, in addition to a specific training specific to your Bachelor’s degree, you will receive an education in values, which will allow you to become an excellent professional who will ensure the pursuit of truth and the common good.

In addition, through our digital platform HUB CEU you can experience the profession with real communication projects. Learn to tell stories in different formats: reports, advertisements, posters, podcasts, literary reviews... 

A journalist needs to have a broad vision of the profession. For this reason, the curriculum has numerous electives so that you can explore the areas of journalism that you like best: sports, political and economic, socio-religious, cultural, and scientific journalism... One of the great advantages of this career is that it offers you numerous alternatives.

We are the only university in Spain where you can study the Bachelor's degree in Journalism almost entirely in English. In addition, you will be able to carry out exchanges with universities in 25 countries and take an International Bilingual Program with UCLA Extension, in California. You can also enjoy master classes with prestigious professors from foreign universities during the "International Week".

To know interactivity, hypertextuality, multimediality and frequency of updating of digital journalism. Handle digital storytelling and its visualization. Organize information taking into account user experience, usability and implementation.

2009

First formalised IQAS at the level of Universidad San Pablo-CEU  that guarantees the quality and continuous improvement of its Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

2012

The IQAS is approved at the Centre level where the IQC of each Centre approves proposals for improvement and their follow-up.

2022

Universidad San Pablo-CEU obtains the SISCAL Madri+d model certification for all its centers and Institutional Accreditation for the centers presented.
