The Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo has an updated curriculum that responds to the reality of economic and business activity. A complete and quality training that offers, unlike other universities, the possibility of specialization in two of the most demanded areas by companies: Finance or International Business. The Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo is divided into two parts. A first cycle common to all students in which a solid training in Economics is acquired, and a second in which you can opt for a mention in two areas of high business demand:

  • Finance: you will have specific financial subjects that respond to the new demands of the labor market. CEU economists have knowledge of financial calculus, instruments, financial statement, and securities analysis, as well as risk management and international standards, among other things.
  • International Business: you will master areas such as international finance, taxation, international trade, marketing, and international business law, among others.

From the first year you will be trained with professional tools such as SPSS, SAS and Bloomberg used by international economic and financial analysts. 

The School of Economics and Business has a Bloomberg Classroom equipped with nine terminals where you can learn to operate with data from the financial markets in real time, consult news and analysis that will make you a professional of the future. 

You will be able to study the degree in Spanish or bilingual (Spanish-English). In addition, we offer you the possibility of taking one or more mobility trips to universities around the world and of acquiring a degree issued by Boston University in the United States.

Expand your future opportunities with a Dual Bachelor’s Degree and obtain two higher degrees in only 5 years. You will be able to study simultaneously the Bachelor's degree in Economics with Business Administration, International Relations and European Union or Business Intelligence.

The Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo has an innovative curriculum that explores traditional economics and integrates the latest trends and advances. Economics professionals are needed who are prepared to face the different models of economic and business management and who know how to interrelate economic movements with business decisions. For this, it is necessary to learn and master, among others, the following Competences:

Represent and explain graphically and mathematically microeconomic models, as well as understand the fundamentals of the models provided by economic theory for the analysis of economic problems. Ability to explain mathematically and represent by graphical analysis the basic macroeconomic models.

Ability to discuss and analyze problems and structural characteristics of an Economics in a globalized world, with special attention to the Spanish Economics and that of the European Union. And to understand international economic relations from a structural perspective, studying aspects such as development, growth, poverty, migration, capital flows or the dynamics of international trade.

Interpret data sets through the use of quantitative and qualitative tools, selecting and properly applying data analysis techniques to support diagnosis and decision making in an economic environment.

To know, master and know how to apply different tools derived from calculus and mathematical analysis in the resolution of problems of an economic-financial nature; as well as to understand the mathematical aspects of economic problems and interpret with a critical sense the results generated by applying the appropriate techniques.

Understand its applicability in economic and business relations, as well as those related to international business and finance. Ability to apply basic concepts of economic theory to the analysis of economic realities, in order to understand the process of economic growth including variables of institutional, social and political nature.

The Bachelor's degree in Economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo has an internship period (360 hours) in the fourth year for you to test the knowledge, skills and Competences acquired during your studies.

You will be able to do this training stage in relevant companies in the economic sector such as the National Institute of Statistics or the Businessmen's Circle; in prestigious financial institutions such as Banco Santander, Deutsche Bank or BBVA; and in companies such as Accenture, Microsoft, PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG, among many other options.

2009

First formalised IQAS at the level of Universidad San Pablo-CEU  that guarantees the quality and continuous improvement of its Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

2012

The IQAS is approved at the Centre level where the IQC of each Centre approves proposals for improvement and their follow-up.

2022

Universidad San Pablo-CEU obtains the SISCAL Madri+d model certification for all its centers and Institutional Accreditation for the centers presented.
