The DomusVi Foundation and the CEU San Pablo University have signed an agreement to create the 'Well-being of the Elderly' Chair, with the aim of raising the profile of this group, promoting research projects and creating a forum for debate among professionals. The agreement was signed by the Director of the DomusVi Foundation, Cristina Ortiz, and the Rector and Director of the University, Rosa Visiedo and Carmen García de Elías, respectively.
The main objective of the agreement is to generate knowledge and raise awareness about respect and care for the elderly. Its main lines of action include

- Creating a space for professionals in the sector to meet and discuss, organising scientific conferences and expert meetings to encourage the exchange of ideas and the creation of collaborative networks.
- Providing relevant scientific information by developing publications, documents and monographs that disseminate knowledge and best practices.
- Participating in the training of professionals, developing activities to strengthen their skills.
“Through this joint initiative with the CEU San Pablo, our aim is the promotion of scientific knowledge and the training of professionals who can make a difference in the care and treatment of the elderly. In addition, with this signing of this agreement, we reaffirm our commitment to encouraging respect and well-being for the people we care for," said José María Pena, president of the DomusVi Foundation and co-director of the Chair.
The DomusVi Foundation was represented by its Director, Cristina Ortiz, the Corporate Director of People, Antonio Martínez García, and the Corporate Director of Excellence, María Taboada.
