At our University we are committed to entrepreneurship as an initiative to face the challenges of the present and the future, and to build a more humane society committed to its reality, an award dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in the university community and in society.
In line with this commitment, Carreras Profesionales, together with Santander Universities, held the event 'Entrepreneurs for Change'; of the 53 projects, 16 of them were presented as finalists before a jury composed of José María García de los Ríos, director of Agreements and Patronage at Santander Universities; Mónica Pérez Hurtado, co-founder of Experience Ahead and CEU alumni; and Nuria Villar Fernández, academic secretary of the Department of Business Management at CEU USP.
The rector, Rosa Visiedo, said that “these awards not only reflect our entrepreneurial spirit, but also our commitment to training young people and leaders who are ready to transform the world”. In this sense, she mentioned, “at the University we are committed to entrepreneurship as an attitude, and also as a strategy to face the challenges of the present and the future, and to build a more humane society committed to its reality”.
