The Area for the promotion of health, safety and well-being at work, which reports to the Corporate Human Resources Department, looks after the well-being of the university community and fosters a true culture of prevention that contributes to achieving the university's mission and its desire to contribute to the common good of society.

HEALTH SURVEILLANCE
Annual Health Promotion Plan   Coordination of Health Services. Compliance with the RGPD. RD 1277/2003. Representation of USP in REMUS (Madrid Network of Healthy Universities).  
Plan for the prevention of childhood and youth obesity in CEU schools. Coordination of the Psychology Office Compliance with the RGPD.  
  Nutritional advice and care (Medical check-ups).  
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Guarantee of Cardioprotection (Spanish Society of Occupational Medicine) Facility Safety Guarantee (RD 393/2007) Management of stays of students from foreign universities (Surrey University,...). Representation on the CRUE-Sustainability Sectorial Commission.  
Guarantee of food safety and nutritional value in canteens and cafeterias. Training and provision of defibrillators in all CEU centres. Management of stays of teachers in national and foreign research centres, companies and other entities.  
PSYCHOSOCIOLOGY Procedure for prevention and intervention against harassment at work Programming: Psychosocial Risk Assessment for academic years 19/20 and 20/21 Financial allowance for the care of minors affected by serious illness (Royal Decree 1148/2011). USP-CEU's Bioethics Committee

Spanish Society of Occupational Medicine Cardioprotected Company Awarded since May 2018 on an ongoing basis to each centre. A cardio-protected space is a place that has the necessary elements to assist a person in the first minutes of a cardiac arrest.
