Continuing with the work started in the previous academic year, USP Alumni continues to play a leading role in the Action Plan of the LINKING INITIATIVES, which include:
-
Actions of continuous training, professional development and updating by area of knowledge, involving the faculties of the University, with the aim of increasing the impact and professional competence of our Alumni.
-
Employability support actions, both from the point of view of employment (Outplacement and Mentoring programmes) and entrepreneurship (Aula emprende, training itineraries for the promotion of entrepreneurship as an employment option; acceleration and mentoring programme for business initiatives in the development phase). The job bank managed through the Career Center (Job Teaser platform) of the University incorporates access through the Alumni website with offers especially aimed at our alumni, professionals with experience.
-
Actions that help to consolidate the global alumni network and allow us to build an enriching networking, creating circles of interest, in addition to the online directory, the different international alumni meetings and the class anniversary meetings.
-
Actions that promote culture, sport, leisure and solidarity. Among other initiatives, we highlight the Theatre Voucher and the Concert Voucher, as well as leisure trips: to the Island of Malta (capital of European culture 2019) and to Helsinki-Tallinn.
We would also like to highlight the collaboration of alumni from different professional sectors, in areas such as Careers, bringing their experience closer to the students, in debates and colloquium activities, sponsoring prizes and challenges between students and other alumni. This demonstrates and enhances pride in belonging, collaboration, influence and impact on society, encouraging young people to think critically and reinforcing the prestige of CEU with its professionalism and prestige.
To enhance and reinforce the pride of belonging to the community, for the second consecutive year two alumni have been awarded: senior (Ms. Elsa Beltran Catalán, alumni of our CEU Cardenal Herrera University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) and junior (Ms. Andrea Caña Paradina, alumni of our CEU San Pablo University, Faculty of Humanities and Communication Sciences) in the Alumni Category of the XXII Edition of the Ángel Herrera Awards, rewarding their professional and personal trajectory.
We work on the visibility of our protagonists through communication actions in social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), in the alumni web blog, as well as through the four-monthly magazine CEU Views, where we highlight appointments, awards, cases of entrepreneurship, internationalisation...
Our alumni are our best brand ambassadors.
