Tutorials are governed by the regulations https://www.uspceu.com/portals/0/docs/conocenos/normativa-universitaria/Reglamento-sobre-la-atencion-tutorial-a-los-estudiantes.pdf. These regulations distinguish between academic tutorials - those carried out by the lecturer outside the classroom to explain to students concepts not understood in his or her explanation, and personal tutorials, aimed at providing students with guidance in their aspirations, problems and orientation in their studies. These tutorials are carried out by a lecturer who teaches the student. The personal tutors have a specific tutoring timetable that is compatible with their teaching and is published for students' information.
