CEU Legal Excellence Award - Cuatrecasas

The object of the awards is a scholarship to course a master’s degree in the Law School of Universidad CEU San Pablo. These awards are not compatible to other scholarships or other types of aid granted by CEU.

The awarded with the CEU Legal Excellence Award – Cuatrecasas will be all students who have the following qualifications:  

• To be currently coursing (or have already finished) the last year of the bachelor’s degree in Law at any Spanish University or, in the case of the Double Degree, to be currently coursing (or have already finished) the last year of the Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• To have an academic record until the end of the first semester of the academic year 2021-22 equal to or above a B (7).

CEU Legal Excellence Awards - Cuatrecasas will be developed in two stages:  

1. The first stage, will be in written format. It will consist of a writing of a verdict on a trending case related to the world of Law. This verdict shall be limited to a maximum of 10 sheets.                       
2. The second stage, once the finalists have been chosen among the best reports, they will take an oral exam. The final contestants will present their own verdict before a Board, a mixed Committee that will consist of Master’s Professors and practising Jurists. The presentation shall be limited to a maximum of 15 minutes.

Application until 18 of April 2022 

Applications to be able to opt for the CEU Legal Excellence Award – Cuatrecasas shall be done by sending an e-mail before 18 April to [email protected]. Applications shall be accompanied by:

• A copy of the academic record
• A updated curriculum vitae

First stage, from 25 of April until 8 of May 2022

The first stage will start on Monday 25 of April by sending the case to solve and will end on 8 of May with the submission of the verdict.

 All participants will be given a certificate of participation.  

Announcing the finalists on 16 of May 2022

The finalists for the second stage will be chosen

Second stage on 27 of May 2022

The submission of the finalists’ papers will take place on Friday 27 of May at 17:00h. All will be given a certificate of finalists. After the Board’s deliberation, the awarded will be announced at an academic ceremony.

La presentación de los trabajos de los finalistas tendrá lugar el viernes 27 de mayo a las 17:00. A todos se les dará un certificado de finalistas. Al finalizar el Tribunal de deliberación, se comunicarán los premiados en un acto académico.
