Quantitative analyses (targeted analysis) of one or several selected metabolites on all sorts of biological samples: blood, serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, tissues, cells, culture means by high-resolution separation methods such as liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, or capillary electrophoresis, coupled to mass spectrometry as a detection system. It includes the whole samples treatment process, from the reception up to the final report, according to the client’s needs. Advisory and recommendations on the most adequate technique depending on the metabolite’s assessment and sample.
Non-targeted Analysis of Metabolites in all the biological sample. It is about performing a differential analysis of biological samples (blood, serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, tissues, or cells culture) by applying high-resolution separation methods such as liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, or capillary electrophoresis coupled to mass spectrometry detection systems, with the aim of obtaining metabolomic profiles. These profiles, subject to an appropriate comparative analysis between problem and control samples, can cause the identification of biomarkers of interest. Their multiples applications: pathophysiological processes related to several diseases, drugs development, toxicity analysis, diagnosis and prognosis markers development, or even the environmental changes evaluation. The comprehensive study they offer includes: sample treatment, analysis of different methods, data reprocessing, statistical analysis, and biochemical interpretation, being able to coordinate analytical and biochemical aspects, or purely analytical ones.
