Program features

This program offers telecommunications engineering students a global vision and provides them with the necessary tools to identify internationalization opportunities and to research markets. It prepares students to understand the complexity of cross-cultural, geopolitical and logistical challenges, with a specific focus on the telecommunications sector.

After the 5 months of study, students complete a full-time internship in a US company to put their new knowledge into practice.

At the end of the program, the student obtains a graduate certificate: "Advanced Graduate Certificate in International Business ” issued by Boston University, and may apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) if desired.

Structure of the International Business Management for Telecommunications program

During the second semester of their 4th year of study at USPCEU, students in the program will take the following courses in Boston:

  • Financial Concepts
  • Project Management
  • Ecommerce
  • International Business Economics and Cultures
  • The Innovation Process
  • Advanced Programming Concepts o Introduction to Database Design and Implementation for Business
  • One elective course

And, at the end of the academic period at Boston University, you will complete:

  • Supervised internship (three months)

Students can apply for additional 12-month internships (OPT), not included in the price of the Program, after completing the Program. To apply for the internships, students will go through the application process through Boston University.

Students in the program benefit from two distinct and complementary educational methods that, combined, provide them with a global vision and an ability to adapt that will be highly valued when entering the job market.
