Program of Excellence for the School of Economics and Business

The Excellence Program of the School of Business and Economics offers high-achieving students a more specialized preparation in different subjects and professional competencies.

The Program is taught in small groups that will be formed with a new teaching methodology based on a strong component of practical learning and teamwork. All this, hand in hand with the latest technologies.

The Program of Excellence offers students the following benefits:

Innovative teaching methodology.
Language training: study of a second foreign language (choose between French, Chinese or German).
Digital competences training: Teaching of the essential tools demanded by companies such as programming in R, SPSS and Bloomberg. Training to obtain Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel certifications.
Participation in the Global Management Challenge and in the University Debate Club.
Training Leadership: Development of persuasive communication, leadership ability, team work, decision-making... through our Exclusive Program in Values and Leadership.
Specific training in oral expression offered by the Debate Club.
Activities for professional development: workshops and other activities related to professional development promoted by the Career Centre Department and volunteering work in the economic field.
First-rate extracurricular national and/or international internships.

Requirements for Admission and Continuity

Requirements for admission

To take part in the Program, yo will have to fulfil the following requirements:

To be admitted in the Bachelor's dgrees where the Program of Excellence is offered.
To provide grades of Year 1 of Spanish Higher Secondary Education (1ºde bachillerato) equal or higher than 8.
To accredit a minimum level of English that allows you to follow the program.
From the second year onwards, to obtain an average grade of at least 7 in the second year of the Bachelor's degree.

Requirements for continuity

Students shall meet the following requirements to remain in the Program:

To carry out a high academic performance and maintain an average grade equal or higher than 7.
