The Dual Bachelor’s Degree to become a legal expert with a mastery of the advertising world

By studying the Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Advertising and Public Relations at Universidad CEU San Pablo you will be choosing two professions that are complementary and that will allow you to excel in both fields, since the knowledge of one allows you to be better in the other and vice versa. The curriculum is structured so that in only 5 years you will obtain two official degrees.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Law will prepare you to know and interpret the legal, social, economic, and cultural reality, as well as to master the legal language. To this end, you will study subjects that will lay the foundations such as Theory of Law to gradually expand your knowledge and become an expert. You will complete your training with the Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, which will give you the skills to be an excellent communicator, discovering creative ways to convey messages and choosing the appropriate media and supports with which to disseminate ideas.

As a result, you will obtain a multidisciplinary profile that will open the doors of two sectors in constant evolution and growth.

The Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Advertising and Public Relations is structured so that in 5 years you can obtain both degrees, acquiring a versatile profile. In addition, a practical methodology is used in which great importance is given to the reflective and proactive attitude of the student. You will learn how to manage with ease in a courtroom and how to present a strategic communication plan in front of a management team.

We want you to live professional experiences in the best companies during your training. That's why, as part of your studies, you will be required to complete a Compulsory advertising internship. Can you imagine starting your career having worked in advertising companies such as Havas Media Group, Ogilvy, Publicis or McCann, or in law firms such as Cuatrecasas, Allen & Overy, KPMG, Ashurst, Baker McKenzie or Gómez-Acebo & Pombo?

We have a faculty with extensive experience in the legal field and in the communication sector, who are involved and committed to their educational work to train future lawyers and communicators. You will prepare hand in hand with experts who have extensive professional experience.

We have our own advertising agency where you can participate in real projects from day one.  The HUB has a media specialized in 360 contents for digital natives where you will be able to put ideas into action with colleagues from other disciplines.

You will also be able to observe the reality of law by participating in social cases in the CEU Pro Bono Legal Clinic. This is a social project in which you will work on real cases under the supervision of professors and practicing lawyers with
pro bono concerns.

At Universidad CEU San Pablo we want to help you obtain an international profile. To do so, we offer you multiple possibilities. You can study at international universities in more than 350 countries, study in bilingual mode and do internships in international companies. You can also study an IBP in collaboration with the prestigious American university Fordham University or an IPP in Geneva with UNITAR, an institution within the United Nations.

The CEU USP Law School has a European Documentation Center endorsed by the European Commission, a Courtroom where you can practice mock trials, and a library that offers specialized electronic resources for lawyers. Meanwhile, at the School of Communication, you'll discover state-of-the-art facilities with TV and radio sets, production studios and much more.

You will learn in a practical way the legal reality of the courts working for a quarter (91 hours) under the supervision of a Judge/Magistrate in the Courts or Provincial Courts, either in the criminal, civil or family area. And you will also acquire basic skills for the profession such as public speaking, negotiation skills, teamwork, or research techniques, among others.

In the fifth year you will also have 180 hours of internships in the  Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and PR where you will be able to put your creative talent to the test.

In addition, we give you the option of doing extracurricular internships that will allow you to finish your studies with an important curriculum. We have more than 9,000 collaboration agreements.
